Lara is a software engineer consultant working at Source Allies in Urbandale, Iowa. She started her career in web design and made the transition to software development using online resources and on the job learning. Lara is passionate about sharing her experience of learning to code and helping others find resources to help them reach their own goals. In addition to learning, writing, and teaching code, Lara enjoys trail running and fostering homeless kittens, but not at the same time.
