Jo Hanna is a non-binary, senior developer with over twenty years experience in the industry. Starting off as a Playstation one playtester, she has enjoyed a long journey from QA to JavaScript Engineer via financial technology consulting where at one point she could explain exactly how shocking the fundamentals of CDO pricing actually were.

She has an obsession with psychology and understanding how we learn which has lead to giving talks on managing information overload, writing beautiful code and affective design. This intersection of beauty and complexity has more recently lead to her exploring education through performance and poetry.
